So to those who know me, I LOVE language. I like to think that I’m fairly adept at picking up new languages. Japanese, Spanglish (have yet to make the full transfer to Spanish), and music just to name a few.
And just because someone will try to argue, Music is definitely a language; both from an emotional perspective and a technical one. I dare you to find someone who has nothing to do with Performing Arts and get them to successfully make the theme of a random song in C into an elegy in Eb Major. I digress though.
So because I see myself as super language nerd, I’m very excited to begin my first Korean study session with my long time friend tomorrow. She’s been working at it for some time, and I just pick it up and put it down as I please (much like my Italian in ten minutes a day; poor thing). I have a neglect for neglecting things and sometimes people. But to continue (yet again), I’m not sure how to feel about the subject quite yet as I expect to be learning more from here rather than a reverse case.
It’s not that Korean is going to be super hard for me- From the notes I have taken it seems only a hop and a skip away from Japanese- however, I am going to feel bad if I can not bring anything into this allegedly ‘mutual’ relationship. I suppose I’ll find out when I head over there tomorrow.
For reading, I must say to you: 감사합니다.
Why, it’s simple my dear. You freeze the screen so that the player gets frustrated and resets your world.

Italy, Japan, Russia, France, and most of Europe.
So, I have tried on multiple occasions to start a blog. They usually end up as forgotten pity fests when I come back months later. I hope to make this one a regular thing, but chances are that it will only last a few weeks.
In the past I have given my blogs no focus, so for this one I think I’ll concentrate on my inspirations: movies/TV, music, and literature. (By the by, I’m not quite an otaku in the sense that I go to cons dressed as my anime idol… yet, but I do consider anime and other TV a part of my passion as well).
Well here goes nothing.
よろしくお願い!
